Meet Our Team

Meet the team at Mason First United Methodist Church.

Our Pastor - Rev. Megan Walther

I started serving the Mason: First UMC in July of 2025, and I've been serving as full-time as a pastor since 2011. I am a graduate of Albion College, and I received my Masters of Divinity degree from Wesley Theological Seminary in Washington DC. My husband Joel is also ordained in the United Methodist Church, and he serves as Director of Benefits and Coordinator of Human Resources for the Michigan Conference of the United Methodist Church. We have an amazing kindergartener and a pug. 
 
I love to tell stories. I love to retell stories about God and life, and I believe part of the task of the church is to help each person discover, claim, and tell their story.
